Brethren,

Please be in prayer as we begin placing the Spanish Evangelism CD's in key strategic areas for outreach. We will begin this week and next week. Our
goal is to see Bible studies established, souls saved and men called to theministry!

Thank for your prayers.

Brethren,

We praise the Lord for all His blessings that He is bestowing up us lately! I went to the port last Friday and was able to bring to a complete conclusion all the paperwork and I am encouraged to report that we didn't have to pay any taxes or fees on the Literature! We are organizing this week and putting in the hands of all of the members here a copy of each of the items to read, listen and study before handing out to others. Also we are starting this week to teach each of the believers here how to write their own personal testimony. Please keep all of this in your prayers!

Yesterday, we took Andrew to Labranza and spent time with the Heinzes as we celebrated Maria's birthday. And then last night, we prayed and commended our 2 oldest boys unto Lord as they departed from the Temuco Bus Terminal en route to South Africa. They will spend a day in Santiago today with the Aldana family, beloved saints and friends in the Lord, and then on to Buenos Aires tomorrow and then in the evening on to South Africa, arriving on Thursday morning, Lord willing. They will spend 2 weeks with the Wilhites before heading to Botswana to spend approx. 6 weeks serving the Lord and learning from Pastor how to reach others for Christ, disciple and start indigenous NT churches for His glory. What an opportunity that God has provided, not only for our children, but also for the Lehigh Valley Baptist Church. I am sure they really covet your prayers!

Thank for your much needed prayers!

Brethren,

Michelle and Joshua are going through some allergy related illnesses and have problems with throat and chest. Michelle is better after seeing the Dr. and going thru some treatments. Josh has just started treatment yesterday after missing a day of school. He was already back in school today w/mommy.

I just got off the phone with Customs and the Literature has not cleared yet. Their excuse is that is was "Fiestas Patrias" (chilean independence day) the 18th and they lost a week of work. We are anxious to get the materials cleared so we can begin distribution. We are looking forward to see what the Lord is going to do! The weather has really been beautiful lately, but from October 8th on it looks like a lot of rain again. Good for the Garden though...

Please pray that we will get the clearance of the Literature this week, so we can take advantage of this nice weather for distribution. Thank you for your faithful prayer.

Thank you for your prayers for the service in Quitratue yesterday. We basically were rained out. What I mean is, a lot of the visitors that were going to come live in the country and just could not make it in. We did have Amelia’s family present, Mom, Sister, her aunt and several children visiting that are friends of Amelia’s children. We will begin to plan a service at the end of September since the weather should be a lot clearer and warmer.

Where to begin... The literature actually arrived yesterday morning
instead of the day before as was scheduled,so there was a chance that
we were not going to be able to get it out the same day. Thankfully we
had all the paperwork in order and the Custom agents were very, very
helpful to me as I walked through the steps. I mean each person was
very kind and respectful in each office. It was evident to me that the
Lord was at work! By noon I had all the paperwork done and I ate my
swordfish lunch, and it was gooood.

The next step was to go to the port and get the literature inspected
and released in the same day. I was told that this just doesn't
normally happen that quick, but again each person was more than
willing to help us!!! By 5:00 pm we had it all loaded up in our two
vehicles and after treating Don and his two boys to supper we were on
our way home. By 11:30 pm we had it off loaded and stored at my house.
Now, we need to pray that Customs accepts our request to forgive all
taxes and charges for religious purposes. Until then we cannot move or
use the literature. It should take 15 days. Thankyou so much for
praying, let's continue to pray for the lives that will be affected
and converted as a result of the Gospel gettig out via Cds and courses!
